Big Bugs Part 2

I saw this ginormous green bug in the backyard. It was big. I mean, if it jumped down one's gullet, one would almost certainly need the Heimlich. I couldn't tell what it was... I think it's a katydid, having never seen one in real life before.

It was dying, so I left it alone and chose not to photograph it and, instead, recited the Three Refuges.

It kind of looked like this...

Tea

I bet nurses in the States would love this. Tea... times two!

Transformer

Make this...

which then becomes this...

Pharmacy SOAP Note

So this is what they teach in pharmacy school...
This explains everything!

VW

Now, I kinda want one of these.
A Volkswagen Golf Mk3. It's old, simple, not expensive anymore (used), quintessential European. I know. Totally different from the big ol' ute or SUV.

Bananas

Thank goodness. Bananas have come back down to a more reasonable price! Mind you, it is summer in January. (That's so weird... the months are simply names now with no traditional seasonal association)

Change of Heart

I change my mind. I want one of these now in 4x4 diesel.
A Nissan Pathfinder. It's less expensive than a Toyota Prado, but sufficient in both on-road and off-road performance albeit less off-road proficient than the Toyota Prado. For the naysayers about off-road time... Believe me, there are plenty of off-road opportunities in Australia to justify a 4x4.

I kind of also want one of these for urban navigation. A Subaru XV. Looks just like the new Subaru Impreza, but with the ground clearance of a Subaru Forester!

I Brake For Snakes

Saw something like this little baby on the road...
I broke. The snake passed. I think it neglected the snake crossing sign further down the road though. Jay-slithering?

The Wild Thornberrys

Dude, does anyone remember this show? I loved Nigel's British accent!

More Utes

Uh, I kinda personally want one of these now.

A Nissan Navara. Otherwise known as Nissan Frontier in the States. It's cheaper than a Toyota Hilux and would be more consistent with my self-imposed frugality. Additionally, it also comes in 4x4 turbo diesel and is also known for good reliability.

Next

Now looking for a 4x4 turbo diesel SUV...

Toyota Landcruiser Prado...

Nissan Pathfinder...

or Nissan Patrol...

World Peace

I wonder when "World Peace" will go on sale...

Patience

Seeing progress in the development of one's patience is rewarding, but having it tested every single day - albeit defining the essence of patience - is still energy draining. To then be criticized of imperfection when perfection was never claimed is again a test of patience in the setting of hypocrisy... The journey ahead is long.
